Global shipping co in central NJ is seeking a Systems Administrator with Azure experience.

This position will be fully on-site for 90 days, and then 2 days/week remote.

Responsibilities:

• Managing and monitoring of existing systems and infrastructure.
• Maintaining system documentation to include system reviews and recommendations.
• Identifying potential issues and proactively proposing solutions and improvements.
• Securing systems by establishing and enforcing policies and defining and monitoring access.
• Contributing to the definition and implementation of project best practices and quality processes.

Required skills and experience:

• Minimum 5 years experience.
• Good knowledge in Windows 10, 11 and Windows server 2019 and up.
• Scripting knowledge (Ansible, Bash, Python, Powershell).
• Good experience in Active Directory concepts like domain, tree, users, groups and OU related concepts.
• Experience with Azure (IAAS) like VMs, Azure storage, Azure VLANs and VPN gateway is an added advantage.
• Office 365 administration (users, DLs and Shared mailboxes) is a plus.
• Experience in Backup solutions and Disaster recovery products.
• Strong skills in Hardware and Datacenter components (Dell, HP and IBM servers).
• Experience with monitoring tools (Datadog or similar).
• Strong experience in configuration and troubleshooting.
• Experience in EMC SAN Storage environment like EMC, VMAX, VNX a plus.
• Good knowledge in networking protocols and devices TCP/IP, DNS and DHCP.
• Ability to multitask and work under pressure.
